Promise staff began working with WS/FCS Instructional Superintendents in July to figure out how to best position the school-based work for success. This process identified the Easton Elementary, Konnoak Elementary, Philo Hill Middle, and Parkland High feeder pattern geography for the School-Based Action Network pilot.

Since September, Promise staff have been meeting intensively with school leaders, educators, institutions, and community service providers to learn about these schools and communities and to design the upcoming collaborative work of the Action Network pilot.

Upcoming Milestones

Promise staff are beginning outreach and recruitment efforts to identify parents, students, members of the faith community, and community members at-large to participate in the Action Network. The Action Network’s planning phase is anticipated to kick off in January.
